Loss of power, slow movements, overheating, intermittent faults. I track down the cause methodically, with the manufacturer's manuals and schematics, and fix it — instead of swapping parts blindly.

A mechanic, not a salesman.
I'm Greg, a heavy machinery mechanic. I worked as a mechanical engineer in mines in Australia and elsewhere, ran a JCB workshop in the south of France and was a mechanic on Vinci's high-speed rail (TGV) construction. Later I also worked in the marine sector. Now I live near Kose and work with builders, forestry crews and boat owners across Estonia.

Frequently asked questions
Where do you travel to?
All of Harju County: Kose, Kehra, Raasiku, Jüri, Kiili, Saku, Tallinn and around. Also Rapla and Järva counties, and harbours along the coast. Send me your location and I will tell you straight away if I can come.
Which machines do you work on?
Excavators, mini excavators, loaders, forwarders, timber truck cranes, deck cranes and winches, stationary engines. For example JCB, Volvo, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Ponsse, John Deere, Hiab and Loglift.
Do you make hydraulic hoses?
No. Hose making is a separate trade. I diagnose and repair hydraulic systems: cylinders, pumps, control valves, leaks.
How fast can you come?
I reply quickly on WhatsApp. When I can be on site depends on the location and workload. Describe the problem and we will agree on a time.
How is the price set?
You get an initial estimate from your description and photos. The final price is set after inspecting the machine. The invoice is sent by email.
Which languages do you speak?
I speak English and French. You can also write in Estonian or Russian: in writing, we always manage.
